Dropped items blink before they despawn — faster and faster as time runs out. When you see the blinking, you know exactly which items are about to vanish.
Features
- Items start blinking 20 seconds before despawning
- Blinking speeds up as the timer runs out (urgency you can feel)
- Items with despawn disabled (by other mods) never blink falsely
- Fixes the original's long-standing bug: in singleplayer, items keep flashing correctly even after relogging or chunk reloads (the original silently lost track of item age)
- Client-side only — works on any server
