When you die with Keep Inventory enabled:
Tools and armor are kept — swords, pickaxes, axes, hoes, shovels, helmets, chestplates, leggings, and boots.
• Everything else is removed from your inventory.
• After that, one random surviving tool is removed as an additional death penalty.
• The tool is chosen only from tools you actually have.
• If you don't have any tools, no extra tool is removed.
• Armor is always protected from the random tool penalty.
Keep your gear. Lose your resources. Sacrifice one tool.
