# WirelessRedstoneTrigger A simple Folia/Paper plugin for the simplest wireless redstone activator/trigger by right clicking an enchanted stick. Originally made to be used with [PearlStasisFix](https://modrinth.com/plugin/pearlstasisfix) to enable stasis chambers to be remotely activated, since: 1. Fishing rod remote activation doesn't work on Folia 2. Even if it did, it's a pain to setup But ofcourse it can be used for a lot of different ideas, like lights activation using a remote in your home (and that's only scraping the surface). ## WARNING: Made with AI (cuz idk how to use Java) I am a random dev, and you should really not trust random stuff you find on the Internet. Take a look at the source code which is only a few hundred lines long. (click on the GitHub "view source" link on the side). And if you prefer, compile the project yourself with `mvn clean package` (requires Java JDK 21+ and Maven installed). > ## Versions > For now, no configuration is available. > To get the full feature set, use the latest version (2.0). > To get only the remote and trigger, without dispenser support, coordinates shown in tooltip, ## Recipes Wireless Redstone Trigger (receiver): | | Redstone | | |---|----------|---| | Redstone | Target | Redstone | | | Redstone | | Wireless Redstone Remote (activator): | | Ender Pearl | | |---|-------------|---| | | Stick | | | | Redstone | | ## Usage 1. Place the Wireless Redstone Trigger block next to any block that receives redstone. 2. Right-click the Trigger block with the Remote 3. Every time you right-click the Remote, the Trigger block will provide a redstone signal. It will also update the trigger block which means it can trigger an observer block aswell. 4. You can also put a linked Remote in a **Dispenser** (not a Dropper) and power the dispenser with redstone - it will fire the signal instead of ejecting the stick. The Remote's linked coordinates are shown in its tooltip (lore), useful for the player getting your items back after some PvP to find the activator's location! To counter that, you can apply Curse of Vanishing to the remote to make it dissapear on your death. > ## Geyser warning > On Geyser/Bedrock, enchanting the stick with Curse of Vanishing in the anvil is impossible, unless you use [Geyser Recipe Fix](https://modrinth.com/plugin/geyser-recipe-fix) > (small tip: for Folia support and 26.1+ support, I have made a patch at https://github.com/0xEAF/GeyserRecipeFixPatches) ## Details - Renaming a Remote or Trigger at an anvil keeps its branded color. - Breaking a placed Trigger block drops the correctly named Trigger item back (TARGET blocks have no block entity, so this is tracked by the plugin rather than stored on the block itself). - The "linked" glint uses `enchantment_glint_override` instead of a hidden Unaking enchbreant, so Bedrock/Geyser players still see the glint without a fake Unbreaking 1 showing up. (this was a bug in version 1.0) - In-world feedback (linking, signal transmitted, unloaded world) is shown via the action bar instead of chat. (this was also the case back in 1.0, and I found it annoying)
