Vine Collector
Java mod listed for Minecraft 1.16–1.20. Downloads from the MC Java Mods app on Android.
I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.
WHAT IT DOES:
Shear your vines and get drops from full column instead of just single piece!
Useful for quick farming.
It should also work with any modded shears, if they extend class ShearsItem.
SUPPORTED PLANTS:
- Vines
- Weeping vines
- Twisting vines
- Kelp
- Glow Berries
- Modded vines (if they extend AbstractPlantBlock / GrowingPlantBlock)
UPDATE LOG:
- Since v1.1 it works with weeping and twisting vines too! Hurray!
- Since v1.2 most modded vines are supported (if they inherit class AbstractPlantBlock). As a side effect, now it works with kelp too.
- Since v1.2.2 Caves & Cliffs update is supported properly – your precious vines will be collected even below y=0 and above y=256!
FUTURE PLANS:
(if requested or if I'll get bored one day)
- Config file for plant whitelist/blacklist and additional features.
- Player exhaustion per block harvested.
- Tool taking damage per block harvested.
