NINJAS Craft ADD-ON
Step into a world of Ninjas, Samurai, and Eastern martial arts in Minecraft Bedrock.
Have you ever wanted to transform your familiar Minecraft world into an ancient Japanese-inspired realm where shadowy Ninjas slip between buildings, Samurai guard mysterious temples, and players wield Katanas, Shuriken, Kunai, or a Grappling Hook to traverse the landscape?
Ninjas Craft introduces a comprehensive Ninja & Samurai-themed ecosystem: new weapons, armor, enemies, merchants, Samurai temples, Eastern furniture and building blocks, plus unique combat and movement mechanics.
This add-on goes beyond a few new items — it creates an immersive system for exploration, combat, looting, and base-building with an authentic Eastern aesthetic.
Weapons System
Ninjas Craft expands combat with a variety of weapons, each offering distinct mechanics and playstyles.
Katana
Signature weapon line with several variants: Katana, Black Katana, Golden Katana, Dark Katana.
Each variant has its own attack behavior and special effects. The Dark Katana stands out for high damage and fire-based attack mechanics.
Nunchaku
A traditional close-combat weapon with high durability and unique usage mechanics, ideal for players seeking an alternative to swords.
Sai
Compact melee weapon with 5 damage. Also excels at breaking cobwebs quickly, useful in web-filled areas.
Kunai
Thrown ninja weapon that can be held and thrown at targets. Effective for fast-paced, ranged harassment and also good at clearing cobwebs.
Shuriken
Classic ninja throwing stars that function as projectiles. Special mechanic allows throwing three Shuriken at once, making them effective against multiple targets.
Grappling Hook
Enhances mobility by allowing players to latch onto blocks within roughly 30 blocks and pull themselves toward them.
Ideal for climbing roofs, traversing terrain, moving across builds, escaping enemies, and performing dynamic ninja-style movement.
Smoke Bomb
Creates a smoke screen to obscure the battlefield.
Useful for distraction, creating a gap to retreat, initiating surprise attacks, or enabling stealthy Ninja tactics.
Ink Flask
Spawns an ink slick on the ground that becomes slippery and hinders movement.
An interesting area-control tool for use in combat scenarios.
Armor Sets
Ninja Armor
Components: Ninja Hood, Chestplate, Leggings, Boots.
Wearing the full set unlocks special mobility abilities:
Double Jump: press Jump twice to perform a midair second jump.
Roll: press Jump + Sneak to perform a forward roll.
These abilities are designed to function in Survival mode and pair well with the Grappling Hook for advanced movement and combat techniques.
Samurai Armor
Components: Samurai Helmet, Chestplate, Skirt, Boots.
Focuses on defense and survivability in direct confrontations.
Notably, the Samurai Chestplate provides 8 protection points and the Samurai Skirt provides 7 protection points, forming a highly resilient set.
Samurai Temples
Samurai Temples are more than decorative — they are explorable locations with combat encounters and rewards.
Available in multiple roof color variants: Yellow, Green, Blue, Black.
Each temple requires the corresponding ore color to place.
Temples may contain dangerous Samurai defenders; be prepared before entering.
Samurai Factions
The add-on adds multiple Samurai types with varying difficulty and combat styles:
Samurai: standard warriors.
Heavy Samurai: high health and resilience.
Elite Samurai: skilled combatants for tougher encounters.
Armored Samurai: heavily plated defenders with strong protection.
Some Samurai also use Shuriken for ranged attacks.
Ninja Variants
Encounter four distinct Ninja archetypes for varied group encounters:
Ninja Swordsman
Ninja Rogue
Ninja Hunter
Ninja Archer
This diversity ensures each encounter can feel different, from melee skirmishes to ranged assaults.
Ninja Merchants & Progression
Ninja Merchants enable progression and trade within the add-on.
Merchants are often guarded by Ninjas.
Enemies drop Tokens that can be collected and exchanged with Ninja Merchants.
Merchants spawn in many biomes such as Cherry Grove, Bamboo Forest, Flower Forest, Jungle, Plains, and Taiga.
This encourages world exploration as a core gameplay loop.
Legendary Scale
A rare and valuable drop obtainable from Samurai.
Uses include: repairing Ninja and Samurai gear, and reactivating Samurai Spawners after cooldown.
This creates a clear gameplay loop: explore → fight → collect Tokens/Legendary Scales → trade/repair → tackle harder challenges.
Eastern Cuisine
The add-on also introduces several Japanese-style food items to enrich world-building and roleplay:
Dango, Onigiri, Maki, Takoyaki
These foods help populate tea houses, street stalls, or player-built towns with authentic flavor.
Eastern Building & Furniture
One of the largest content areas includes blocks and furniture for authentic East-Asian architecture and interiors:
Examples: Shoji Screen, Shoji Window, Tatami, Floor Cushion, Bonsai, Lucky Cat, Teapot Set, Stone Lantern, Oriental Carpet, Wooden Sliding Door, Low Table, Dresser, Vase, Wish Lamp, and many more.
Multiple material variants (Oak, Spruce, Birch, Jungle, Acacia, Crimson, Warped) allow cohesive builds in any style.
Build possibilities include:
Samurai Temples, Ninja Houses, Tea Houses, Edo-style streets, Japanese villages, Dojos, and Ninja Merchant shops.
Scroll Guide
A built-in Scroll Guide functions as an in-game manual. Through the guide interface players can learn:
How to play; weapon and armor mechanics; Ninja Merchants; Samurai Temples; interactive furniture; and crafting recipes.
This helps players grasp add-on systems without outside references.
Combat Styles
The core appeal of Ninjas Craft is how it changes combat behavior rather than merely adding items. Players can combine gear and mechanics to create distinct playstyles, for example:
Katana + Roll + Double Jump for agile melee combat.
Shuriken + Smoke Bomb + Grappling Hook for hit-and-run tactics.
Kunai + Grappling Hook + Ninja Armor for mobile ranged harassment.
A Ninja might scale rooftops with the Grappling Hook, perform a double jump, barrage foes with Shuriken, then vanish in a Smoke Bomb. A Samurai, by contrast, might adopt a direct approach: heavy armor and sustained face-to-face combat.
