# Locust
**You will never see it move.**
Locust is a horror add-on for Minecraft Bedrock. It appears on its own, far away, and never stops watching you. It won't run, it won't walk while you're looking at it... but the moment you look away, something changes.
---
## ☀️ DURING THE DAY
- Appears in the distance, completely still.
- No matter where you stand, **it is always looking at you** — you can never see its back.
- It cannot be attacked or pushed.
- If you get too close, it vanishes into static... for now.
## 🌑 AT NIGHT
- It reappears, closer this time.
- Every time you stop looking at it, it gets a little closer.
- If it manages to reach you, you won't have time to run.
## ⚠️ DON'T LOOK AWAY FOR TOO LONG
Once Locust gets close enough at night, the jumpscare triggers: full-screen, camera shaking, no time to escape.
## ✨ Features
- Fully automatic — no need to summon it, it appears on its own as you explore.
- Custom AI: behaves differently by day and by night.
- "Only moves when unseen" system — reacts to your camera in real time, not scripted.
- Custom horror fog when it's nearby.
- 100% original sounds (scream, presence, appearance, disappearance).
- Jumpscare with camera shake and screen effects.
- Lightweight — optimized to keep at most one active entity per player.
## 📋 Requirements
- Minecraft Bedrock **1.21.0** or higher.
- **Beta APIs** must be enabled in world settings (Experiments).
## 📦 Installation
1. Download the `.mcaddon` file.
2. Open it with Minecraft (both packs import automatically).
3. Create or edit a world → enable it under **Behavior Packs** and **Resource Packs**.
4. Enable **Beta APIs** under Experiments.
5. Enter the world. Locust will appear on its own, when you least expect it.

## ⚠️ NO MIRES DEMASIADO CERCA
- 100% automático — no necesitas invocarlo, aparece solo mientras exploras.
4. Activa **Beta APIs** en Experimentos.
5. Entra al mundo. Locust aparecerá solo, cuando menos lo esperes.
