New Horizons

New Horizons expands Bedrock survival with new weapons, tools, creatures, events, abilities, and progression while keeping the normal survival experience recognizable.

Weapons & Tools

Upgrade familiar equipment into powerful new versions with completely different abilities. Weapons can heal you, poison enemies, summon lightning, launch attacks, or change how you fight. Upgraded pickaxes introduce effects such as:

• Double drops
• Magnetized mining
• Blast mining
• Ore compaction
• Auto-smelting
• 3×3 mining

Creatures & Encounters

The world gains new creatures and encounters, including Pink Allays, Hornets, Stalkers, Blood Skeletons, Blood Spiders, Killagers, and the Elite Warden. Some mobs provide useful effects, while others turn exploration into a much bigger threat.

Events & Progression

New Horizons also includes special events such as the Blood Moon, new crafting recipes, custom textures, unique combat mechanics, stronger equipment, and plenty of secrets to discover.

The goal is simple: make normal survival feel like there is always something new to find, fight, craft, or upgrade without completely replacing the game you already know.

  • Added new Sand Caves that generate underground in desert and beach biomes
  • Sand Caves now generate in different shapes and sizes so they feel varied

  • Added the new Sand Breeze (Sand Breezes can fly and give Slowness when they attack)
• Queen Spider
  • Added the new Queen Spider boss
  • She can climb walls
  • She shoots purple webs that slow and damage players
  • She can make nearby spiders attack the player
  • Her nests contain webs, silk spawners, and loot
  • Queen Spider chests can contain Crimson Shards
  • She drops useful boss loot including her special purple webs
• New Mobs and Food
  • Added Brown Bears and baby Brown Bears (Bears can be fed honey and can break beehives)
  • Added Bear Meat and Cooked Bear Meat
  • Added Burgers
  • Added Green Apples
  • Added Low Quality Carrots and High Quality Carrots
  • Added the new Food Villager with food-based trades and progression
• Ores and Exploration
  • Crimson Shard Ore can now be found in normal caves (still more common inside Crimson Caves)
  • Nebula Ore can now generate throughout the End, including underneath End islands
