Balanced Cobblestone Funnel
Balanced Cobblestone Funnel is a mod which adds funnels to the game.
These funnels generate cobblestone. Big Shock, I know. But these funnels can generate way more resources.
There are Funnels that generate the overworld ores, but also funnels that add all the stones that can be found in the overworld.
All these funnels are highly customizable and there can be added more via config files.
How it works
When a funnel is placed down, you will likely need to provide it with lava and water to generate the resources.
Some funnels have an infinite water or lava supply, but might need to be provided with those if configured that way.
The funnels will generate the resources as long as it has the fluids present.
The fluids will slowly drain away. You can add water and lava to it by using the correct providers, the default is a water bucket and lava bucket.
The current level can be seen in the windows of the funnels, or by taking a comparator output from the funnel.
Comparators work a bit different with the funnels, they will check the lava when set to subtract mode, and they check the water level when set to compare mode.
Dispensers can be used to automate the insertion of fluids.
Config
The config consists of a couple of parts, the fluid data, funnel data and miscellaneous.
The fluid data has a couple of lists with the input and output for the fluid types.
"lava_input": ["minecraft:lava_bucket"],
"lava_output": [minecraft:bucket"],
"water_input": [minecraft:water_bucket"],
"water_output": ["minecraft:bucket"]
The default config only accounts for lava buckets and water buckets, but it can easily be expanded, just be sure the input and the output has the same index.
If the item shouldnt have a output, use minecraft:air
"lava_input": ["minecraft:stone", "minecraft:rocket"],
"lava_output": ["minecraft:cobblestone", "minecraft:air"]
The funnel config data is more complex, so let me explain it.
"funnels": {
"nether": {
"speed": 60,
"uses_per_lava": -1,
"uses_per_water": 50,
"generates": [
{
"block": "minecraft:netherrack",
"weight": 4
},
{
"block": "minecraft:nether_quartz_ore",
"weight": 1
},
{
"block": "minecraft:nether_gold_ore",
"weight": 1
}
]
}
}
All funnels go in the tag funnels, and have a name, this name also decides the in game name, so this funnel will have the id bcf:nether_funnel.
Each funnel must have a speed, this is the amount of ticks it takes for the funnel to generate the resources.
Each funnel has an amount of uses per fluid, if this is missing, or given the value -1, it will not use the fluid.
The amount you enter here is the amount of ores this fluid can generate.
Generates holds a list with the block and the weight. All the weights will be added together to form the odds,
here it is 4/6 chance of getting netherrack, and 1/6 of getting either ore.
There are also miscellaneous settings, currently only if an infinite tank (a tank with value -1) needs to be filled before ready to use.
