Every version of the game needs its own build. Pick yours, then download — the wrong build installs fine and then does nothing in the game. This mod is built for Forge only.

I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.

1.16.5 has all levels (HIGHLY UNSTABLE, DO NOT USE WITH OTHER MODS)

1.18.2 has only level 0 and 1 and 2

 

A painful amount of people are asking how to get into the backrooms

1.16.5: Suffocate yourself (Should work)

1.18: Use the craftable backrooms door (Suffocating not implemented yet)

Pray to any that you dont suffocate and end up in this hell.

 

This goes on endlessly, and you are never alone.

If you find a door, it might take you back to your home, or deeper into the backrooms of reality.
