Advanced Lootable Weapons [Lootable Update!]

 

Alw is a weapons mod made with two ideas in mind:

• Customizability: Alw has loads of ways to change the balance and how you play, so you can get the same experience in a lightly or heavily modded environment!
• Realistic Inspiration: Alw takes lots of inspiration from real processes, thermal conductivities, and ingot weights to make the mod feel more RPG-like!

Resources Galore

Resources Galore update most notably adds CraftTweaker compatibility into ALW, along with a couple of other features:

• 2 New Addon Mods to ALW!
• The first is called ALW RotN, which uses Pyrotech as a required dependency (Find it here)! Alw RotN adds compatibility between the ALW forges and Pyrotech bellows!
• The second addon mod is called ALT, or Advanced Lootable Tweaker (Find it here)! This mod adds compatibility for ContentTweaker which you can find in detail on the wiki!
• This update also fixes many QOL bugs and stability issues!

 

 

Previous Update: Modularity Update

Modularity UpdateThe Modularity Update is here! Here is a list of features added:

• All weapon textures (Including spear models) are now modular
• The config allows you to add a weapon material and repair item to generate a whole set of ALW weapons!
• Quenching has been added, with config options to disable it
• Clay quenching for certain weaponsQuenching Compatibility with JEI (Uses the Clay Drum)
• Fixed many recipes to be modular with CraftTweaker!

This mod is currently only available for Minecraft 1.12.2 but has plans to port to 1.18.2!

THE ALW TEAM IS LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO HELP WITH PORTING AND TRANSLATING!

 

 

Armors are forgable from all current Alw resources, and have weight, increase hp, and have weight-based armor/toughness values!

 

Alw adds 15 new types of weapons:

Dagger, Kabutowari, Talwar, Rapier, Mace, Cleaver, Staff, Longsword, Kodachi, Nodachi, Battleaxe, Zweihander, Sabre, Makhaira, and Spear (Which is throwable!)

All weapons have realistic reach and are balanced for an enhanced vanilla environment! All values for all weapons are changeable in the config files!

 

 

Alw offers a mill to grind up granite, diorite, and feldspar into their respective powders! These are widely used resources within Alw!

 

 

Tan leather the old fashioned way! Alw uses a clay drum with various ingredients and fluids along with a tanning rack to tan leather!
