Vanilla Gun Mod (26.2, 1.20.1) – Fight Off Hostile Mobs Using Craftable Firearms

Vanilla Gun Mod brings four distinct firearms into your game while keeping normal survival balance. It takes a larger weapon pack and strips away the complicated extra features like custom structures, loot tables, and special villagers. You get a clean experience where you simply craft the guns and use them. The weapons fit right in with normal Minecraft gameplay, and you can even upgrade them to Netherite using a smithing table.

Features:

• Netherite Upgrades: You can place any of the four firearms into a smithing table to make them stronger.
• Recoil Control: Crouching while firing cuts your weapon recoil in half so you can aim better.
• Removes all the extra world generation and structures from the original mod so your world stays clean.
• Lets you apply normal enchantments like Unbreaking, Mending, Flame, and Punch to your firearms.
• Adds intermediate crafting items like Metal Tubes and Auto Loader Contraptions to build your weapons.
• Makes the Flame enchantment work on guns, but it will make the weapon lose durability faster.

Weapon Types:

• Auto Gun: Shoots fast with low damage and holds a 20-round bullet magazine.
• Rifle: Fires semi-automatic shots for high damage and uses a 6-round short magazine.
• Revolver: Holds 6 magnum bullets and requires you to load each round one at a time.
• Shotgun: Blasts 5 pellets per shot, holds 8 shells, and loads one shell at a time.

How to Use:

1. Craft the intermediate parts like Metal Tubes and Auto Loader Contraptions first.
2. Build your chosen firearm and its specific ammunition using a crafting table.
3. Hold the crouch key (default: Shift) while shooting to reduce your recoil by 50%.
4. Place the weapon in a smithing table with a Netherite Ingot to upgrade its stats.
5. Use an anvil to add normal bow enchantments like Mending or Punch to your guns.
