🪣 VectorLock: MLG — Never Miss the Water Clutch

The bucket goes down for you. Step off a cliff, get knocked into a ravine, or misjudge a jump — VectorLock: MLG watches your fall, finds the ground you're actually heading for, and places the water right where you're going to land. The moment you're safe it scoops the water back up and hands your bucket back, exactly like a perfect manual clutch.

MLG is a lightweight, Stable-API Minecraft Bedrock add-on: no Experiments required, works in singleplayer and multiplayer, and your world stays Achievements Enabled. It runs perfectly on its own, and plugs straight into the VectorLock unified menu if you use other add-ons in the suite.

🪣 What It Does

The moment you start falling fast, MLG scans ahead along your fall — following your sideways drift, not just straight down — until it finds the block you're actually going to hit. It places water on that block, plays the bucket sound, and takes the water bucket from your inventory. As soon as you're safe it removes the water, refills your bucket and gets out of the way.

• Predictive, not reactive — it aims at where you will land, including mid-air drift
• Places the water before you arrive, so there's nothing to time by hand
• Cleans itself up — the water is removed right after you land, no puddle left behind
• Your bucket comes back filled, ready for the next fall
• Doesn't fire when you don't need it — no trigger if you're already in water
• Durability and inventory are untouched otherwise

🎮 How to Use

1. Sneak + hold a Compass to open the VectorLock menu.
2. Open MLG.
3. Keep Auto MLG on, and set MLG Scan Range to taste (6 is a good default).
4. Carry a Water Bucket and go play. The next time you fall, it handles it.

Higher scan range = it commits to the clutch from further up. Lower range = it waits until the ground is close.

📥 Installation

1. Download the .mcaddon and open it — Minecraft imports it automatically.
2. In your world: Settings → Behavior Packs → Activate "Vector Lock MLG".
3. Enter the world and sneak while holding a Compass to open the menu.

No Experiments to switch on. No commands to type.

❓ FAQ / Troubleshooting

Do I need to turn on Experiments? No. MLG uses the Stable Script API — leave all Experiments off.

Will it disable my achievements? No. The pack declares itself as an add-on per Minecraft's official spec, so your world remains Achievements Enabled. (Note: enabling Cheats or Experiments, or switching to Creative, disables achievements — that's vanilla Minecraft behavior, not this pack.)

Do I lose my water bucket? No. It is borrowed for the clutch and refilled straight after you land.

Nothing happened when I fell. Check three things: the Behavior Pack is activated on the world, Auto MLG is toggled ON in the Sneak + Compass menu, and you are carrying a Water Bucket in Survival. It also won't fire if you're already in water.

It placed the water too early / too late. That's the MLG Scan Range slider. Raise it to commit earlier from higher falls, lower it to keep the clutch tight to the ground.

Does it work on Realms / servers? Yes, as long as the host supports Script API behavior packs and the pack is applied to the world.

Can I use it with other add-ons? Yes. It runs solo, and if you install VectorLock Core it auto-joins one shared menu with the rest of the suite.
