-
Interactions: Sneak-blocking a goat's ram can drop a horn, and gold-armored players have a chance to keep their ingots when trading with Piglins.
-
Companions: Tamed bats provide damage immunity, heal via glow berries, and use sonar for loot; foxes dig up items for gold; and pandas sneeze out slime or seeds when fed bamboo.
-
Turtle Eggs: Hatch 4x faster near hostiles; killing nearby monsters speeds this up even further.
-
Hardmode: Equipping a full diamond armor set permanently buffs hostile mob health and turns 15% of them into Elite variants with special status effects.
-
Creepers & Blood Night: Creepers leave poison clouds instead of destroying blocks, and every 30 days, Blood Night boosts spawns by 50% and disables sleep.
-
Golems: Automatically attack players who commit crimes in villages.
Items, Gear & Tools
-
Crafting & Upgrades: New Smithing Templates (Stone to Diamond) are now strictly required to craft or upgrade gear.
-
Potions: Return Potions teleport you to your bed, and Friendship Potions teleport you to other players.
-
New Tools: Tridents are craftable from new prismarine components; the custom projectile pulls and knocks up enemies. Craftable Empty Eggs can capture and release non-boss mobs.
-
Armor Perks: Leather boosts speed and mitigates weight; Copper reduces fall/lightning damage, gets charged by lightning, and saves tool durability; Heavy armors add exhausting weight. Turtle armor grants underwater breathing, fishing bonuses, and rare loot chances.
-
Utility: Pickaxes act as an Ore Radar by consuming materials, bows shoot Torch Arrows to place torches remotely, and placed Fishing Nets catch loot over 24,000 ticks.
World & Generation
-
Blocks: Sugar Cane blocks are craftable for storage, while Budding Amethysts and Mob Spawners are now minable with Silk Touch. Composters accept bamboo and auto-feed bone meal to hoppers.
-
Farming & Trees: Sneak-breaking mature crops auto-replants them, and breaking a tree trunk triggers instant leaf decay.
-
Biome Adaptations: Harsh environments (snow, deep water, swamps, dark forests, underground) apply severe debuffs. Players must use specific armor or drink potions to build up permanent, long-term immunity.
-
Dimension Locks: The Nether and End portals damage players and break instantly until the Elder Guardian and Wither are killed, respectively.
Technical & UI Changes
-
Menus: Using a Clock opens a custom UI to track digestion, biome adaptations, armor stats, and village fast-travel.
-
Overeating: Vanilla health regen is replaced with a custom slow version; overeating specific food groups causes sickness, though Golden Apples can permanently expand stomach limits.
-
Villages: Ringing a bell opens the Town Hall UI to manage 6 reputation levels. Players can collect taxes, gain buffs, unlock fast travel between villages, and pay emeralds to auto-generate houses and walls.
-
Abyss Beacon: Activating a Conduit with a goat horn saves your items and XP upon death, returning them when you respawn.
-
Recycling & Mechanics: Mid-air double jumps consume Wind Charges to propel you; Enchanting tables recycle items into XP; Anvils extract enchantments onto books; and furnaces smelt armor back into raw resources.
-
Combat & Trading: Stealth kills while invisible grant direct XP, and villagers now require upgrade templates or empty potions for high-tier trades.
