# Features
### Change how biomes look
Pick any biome and change its sky, water, fog, grass, and foliage colors — just run a command with a hex color code or a preset name like red or lime. Don't like it? Reset it back to default just as easily.
### Make custom-colored regions
Grab the selection wand, mark out an area by left/right-clicking two corners, and turn it into its own region with its own colors — separate from whatever biome it's sitting in. Great for building things like a glowing swamp or a pink lake without touching the biome around it.
### Add effects to water and lava
Want swimming in a certain lake to poison players, or lava in one area to do extra damage? You can attach potion effects, damage, or particles to water or lava, either everywhere or just inside a specific region.
### Easy to use
Everything works through simple in-game commands with tab-completion, so you don't need to memorize anything. Players who prefer a GUI can just type /be help to open a menu instead.
