How to Install a Server:

1. Download the latest server version from the Files tab and extract the zip.

2. Place the Server files where you want the Server Installed

3. Download Railcraft from the link above and insert it into the mods folder of your Current server

4. Double-click on the run.bat for windows or the run.sh for Linux and MacOS

5. The Server is now going to try to start up. It is going to fail and create eula.txt. When it has failed, Close the Server window

6. Open the eula.txt and replace the false with true after you have read and the linked eula.

7. Now Double-click on the run file again, to start the server.

8. To connect to the server, you need to find out the IP. if the server is in the local network, you need to enter the IP from the computer that is running it and add a ":25565" at the end as the default port.If the computer is on another network, you will need to find out the public IP and open the port in the routers firewall.

9. The Install is now complete, and you can now start the Server and configure it to your will.

 

How to Update a Server:

1. Download the latest server version from the Files tab and extract the zip.

2. Delete the Mods and Config folder from your current server folder.

3. Insert the downloaded Mods and config folder into the folder of your Current server.

4. Download Railcraft from the link above and insert it into the mods folder of your Current server

5. The Update is now complete, and you can now start the Server.
