Description
This is just a simple plugin that I made in response to a Reddit post that I saw on the /r/admincraft page. What the plugin does is that when a player dies, it will let players ghost where they have died for 7 seconds (can be changed in the config) before returning them back to their spawn point. Simple as that!
The plugin is fully customizable using the config file that is generated after running spigot with the plugin for the first time. Below is a list of things you can do with the config.
- Change the initial death message (use '&' for color formatting).
- Change the countdown message.
- Change the countdown duration.
- Set a maximum distance players can travel from their death location. If you want this disabled set to any number less than 0.
- Change the message that prevents dead players from using commands.
- Automatically updates old config files on startup.
- Set the health of the player when they respawn back in. Supports health greater than the default 10 hearts (20 in the config).
- Allow players to skip the death screen with the permission hardcorerespawn.noghost.
