Endermode's Traps

This mod adds 7 different traps and special trap armor that you can use to trap your friends, or mobs inside of Minecraft. The traps work when an entity walk on them, so you can use it for mob farms, defending your base, or hiding it in your friend's houses. There are 4 disguised versions of each trap with a different texture on top so you can hide them in the ground. The trap armor is as strong as diamond and has various abilities.

 

Fire Trap

Sets entities on fire. Doesn't work in the rain or underwater.

 

Explosive Trap

Explodes entities that walk on it. Doesn't break blocks.

 

Freeze Trap

Freezes entities in place. Crouch to escape.

 

Lightning Trap

Strikes entities with lightning. Sadly it can't change mobs (like make charged creepers).

 

Bounce Trap

Bounces entities in the air. Negates fall damage also.

 

Zombie Trap

Spawns a faster, tougher zombie. Drops redstone.

 

Instant Kill Trap

Harder to craft than the others. Will kill anything that walks on it. Useful for wardens ;).

 

Trap Helmet

Crouch to reveal all nearby hidden traps.

 

Trap Chestplate

Sets anything on fire that hits you and extinguishes you if you're on fire. Instantly kills trap zombies.

 

Trap Leggings

Gives permanent speed.

 

Trap Boots

Instead of activating, traps will drain the durability of your trap boots. Drains 3x as fast on instant kill traps.

 

Disguised Traps

To make a trap disguised, just combine it with either a grass block, sand, a snow block, or stone in the crafting table.

 

You can remove the disguise by just putting it in the crafting table alone.
