 Update 13.04.2023 : We are still working on the updated MoreBarrels Mod with an new working locking system and the ability to close the barrel using the E Key! It is way more time needed then expected. Note that this is our side project and do not have much time to work on the mod.

 

MoreBarrels expands Minecraft's storage system with five additional barrel types...

 

 

 

With MoreBarrels, players can store more items in a single barrel than ever before, using barrels made of copper, iron, gold, diamond, and netherite. Each barrel size can hold a different number of items, making it easy to manage your inventory.

 

MoreBarrels features simple, yet refined barrel designs that maintain a "vanilla" look and feel. The barrels are also intricately detailed, complete with opening animations that add a touch of realism to your gameplay.

 

 

 

To craft MoreBarrels, users can follow intuitive recipes that don't require excessive grinding or rare materials. Additionally, players who have already built their barrels can upgrade them with convenient upgrade kits.

 

 

MoreBarrels is compatible with ColonyLife modpack and has been visually customized to fit within it. Please note that this mod is a work in progress, so expect future updates and new features in upcoming releases.

 

 

Barrel Interface:

 

Every barrel comes with a user interface that allows players to lock and organize their own barrels. They can also add friends to their locked barrel to share their rare resources. When looking at a barrel from the outside, the owner's name is displayed in the top left corner.

Copper Barrel - 5 x 9 Slots (Total 45 Stacks)
Iron Barrel - 6 x 9 Slots (Total 54 Stacks)
Gold Barrel - 8 x 10 Slots (Total 80 Stacks)

Diamond Barrel - 8 x 13 Slots (Total 104 Stacks)
Netherite Barrel - 8 x 16 Slots (Total 128 Stacks)

Current Bug:

You can only close the barrels with the ESC button, but it is playable. We are currently working on the issue.
