Meatpocalypse is a flesh-based, parasite-adding mod!
(Inspired by Scape & Run: Parasites)
For an experience like Scape & Run, try mixing this mod with other parasite mods, or make Swarmers spawn naturally using other mods.
Main mechanic:
Ever-so-often you will notice a specific message pop up in your chat when killing mobs, it means a Meateorite is falling from the sky.

Look up & try to spot where it lands, otherwise, listen closely for an explosion noise soon followed by a fleshy-splash!
Go there & stop the parasites before they grow in power, destroy the Meateorite's birther & stop the spread!
The Swarmers are an aggressive mob which can only spawn via the Meateorites.
It will burrow itself inside of other organic mobs to transform them into their infected versions.

More advanced versions of the infected will have their own specific abilities & a chance to spawn as a slightly more powerful versions of themselves.

The mod has config files so you can customise how many kills it takes for a next Meateorite roll to unlock.
Supported mobs:
So far, the Swarmer is able to infect:
Vanilla Zombies
Villagers
Creepers

Meatpocalypse is early in development, so be aware of bugs here & there.
