Resource Potatoes
Java mod listed for Minecraft 1.21. Downloads from the MC Java Mods app on Android.
I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.
RESOURCE POTATOES
OVERVIEW
- Resource Potatoes is a mod focused solely on generating resources to allow the player to automate vanilla, and eventually, modded resources late-game
- Resource Potatoes can only be discovered within End City Treasure Loot. This is temporary, until I can come up with a better way of obtaining.
- As of release, there are potatoes for Wood, Stone, The Nether, The End, and all vanilla ores
- Each potato crop will drop potatoes, obviously, and have a 50% chance of dropping Resin
- Resin, can be crafted into Resin Blocks which pack makers can utilize to their hearts content
- Resin and Potatoes can be used together to craft resources
- Resource Potatoes must be grown on specific blocks to function. Deepslate ores, Budding Amethyst, and specific dimensional blocks based on the resource
FUTURE CONTENT
- Modded Resources, such as Tin, Aluminum, Steel, Bronze, Ruby, Sapphire, etc., are planned. These will utilize Neoforge's tag system to allow them to be crafted into any mods version of the ingots
- Datapack example, allowing pack makers to change drop rates, change the dropped items, etc.
- Built-in compatibility for Botany Pots, assuming Botany Pots updates to 1.21.1 Neoforge
DISCLAIMER
- I have zero intention of backporting to previous versions. Please refrain from asking me.
PLAYER INPUT
- I would love to improve this mod in any way possible. Please take any ideas, suggestions, or bugs to my discord, here
