Noah's Sound Tweaks

This resource pack contains a series of replacements to grating or outdated sounds, designed from scratch with the spirit of the vanilla in mind. I'm staring out with tackling particularly obnoxious sound effects such as the nether portal, water, and UI sounds. The number of new and reworked sounds will be forever increasing as I find more sounds I'm unsatisfied with.

This resource pack started in an SMP where I got fed up with the grating nether portal sound. So I hopped into Ableton Live and made a new, smoother sound that I could stand hearing again and again. Then I thought, why not fix other grating sounds? Why not make my own versions of outdated sounds? That's what I'm doing with this pack.

Future plans include:

• Writing music and remixing certain tracks (I'm a musician first after all)
• Adding new sound events such as extra variations to existing sounds such as portal.ogg, or entirely new sound events like "nether portal activate"
• Tweaking sounds in mods I commonly use such as Create, Supplementaries, Quark, etc.
• Taking advantage of the sound events introduced in Sounds, Atmosfera, and Presence Footsteps to craft a cohesive sound world
