The Purgatory Mod (1.21.8, 1.20.1) – Survive Brutal Trials and Escape a Prison

The Purgatory Mod adds a punishing prison dimension where rulebreakers face dangerous survival trials. Players banished to this realm must fight hostile mobs across red sand deserts and dark obsidian depths. The only way to return to the overworld is by offering crafted keys to mysterious altars and conquering deadly boss fights.

Commands:

• /exile <player>: banishes the specified player straight into the prison dimension.
• /give <player> purgatory_ring: places a special ring in the target player inventory to exile them.

How to Play:

1. Enter the dimension through exile commands or by obtaining the purgatory ring.
2. Check the custom advancements tab to see your required progression steps.
3. Gather resources and forge Purgatory Metal to create essential tools.
4. Craft and offer tiered keys at regional altars to unlock new trial phases.
5. Defeat area bosses to obtain the Level III Purgatory Key and return to the overworld.
