A lightweight Bedrock combat feedback addon that shows floating damage numbers and live health above entities — including vanilla mobs, players, and custom/modded entities from other addons.

No more guessing if that chicken is one hit from death or if your sword is actually doing damage.

Features

Floating damage numbers

When you hit a mob, player, or modded entity, a large red damage number appears beside the target

The number floats upward and disappears after about 2 seconds

Shows the actual damage dealt (e.g. -2, -5.5)

Works with fists, swords, axes, projectiles, and any other damage source the game reports

Always-visible HP

A clean ❤ current/max readout stays above the entity’s head

Updates in real time as the target takes damage or heals

Positioned by hitbox height so small mobs (chicken) and tall ones (Warden, custom bosses) look correct

Always on while the entity is near you — you don’t need to look at it or hit it first

Modded / custom entity support

Works on vanilla mobs and players

Also works on addon NPCs, AI “players”, custom bosses, and most modded mobs that use the standard health component

No entity whitelist — if it has health, it can get a bar and damage numbers

Clean & stable

Helper entities are invisible, non-colliding, and don’t take damage

Stuck damage numbers are auto-cleaned so they don’t hang in the air

Optimized scan radius and tracking limits for smoother play on mobile and low-end devices

How to install

Download the .mcaddon file

Open it so Minecraft imports both packs

Create or edit a world → enable:

Behavior Packs → Damage Indicator & Health

Resource Packs → Damage Indicator & Health RP

Required: World Settings → Experiments → turn on Beta APIs

Load the world and hit something

Without Beta APIs, the script will not run..
