Which build do you need?

This mod ships a separate file for every mod loader and every version of the game. Pick both, then download — the wrong build installs fine and then does nothing in the game.

I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.

NOTE: Currently the modpack seems to freeze on loading on Prism launcher only, CurseForge launcher works fine and we're working on fixing this.

Caramel is a Vanilla+ modpack by Cerulean Studios  that aims to properly embody that term, through thoughtful, integrated, and open-ended additions to the Vanilla game that supplement rather than overshadow it. As far as Vanilla+ modpacks go, Caramel is pretty particular in terms of what fits that category.

▶️ Carefully selected quality Vanilla+ modlist including Oreganized, Supplementaries, Quark, and Abnormals Mods.

▶️ Backports of Vanilla content, bringing Pale Garden & Happy Ghasts, animal variants, Redstone Torch retextures, and Unique Spawn Eggs to 1.21.1.

▶️ Vanilla-style implementations of modded conveniences, such as Spyglass zooming and Map Atlases.

▶️ Mob/biome vote content, such as the Wildfire and the Glare.

▶️ Focus on information accessibility, with unique enchantment book textures, effect descriptions, and many EMI addons to show ore generation and mob drops.

▶️ Custom content to integrate mods together, such as Resnouted Moobloom.
