Dungeons and Taverns Ocean Monument Overhaul Data Pack (26.2, 1.21.1)

Dungeons and Taverns Ocean Monument Overhaul Data Pack replaces the vanilla Ocean Monuments with an expansive and challenging structure known as the Trident Trial Monuments. This overhaul introduces new mechanics, enemies, and rewards, providing a fresh and engaging underwater experience.

Features:

• Removes all Vanilla Ocean Monuments and replaces them with Trident Trial Monuments.
• Can be located using Ocean Explorer Maps or commands:
  • /locate structure minecraft:monument
  • /locate structure nova_structures:trident_trail_monument
• Large central monument surrounded by 8 smaller ones, connected by glass bridges.
• No natural Guardian spawns; 2 Elder Guardians are pre-spawned and do not respawn.
• Trial Spawners summon Guardians, Drowned and Elder Guardians, and can drop Trident Trial Keys.
• Defeating Trial Spawners rewards loot and sometimes Water Breathing potions.
• Can be placed into the Resource Pack folder to enable custom key textures.
• Each smaller monument: 1 chamber + 1 Trial Spawner spawning Guardians.
• The lobby (first accessible room) includes a Drowned Swarm Event Trial Spawner.
• Lower area includes a vault chamber, sponge rooms and labyrinth with locked vaults requiring Trident Trial Keys.
• Central Dark Prismarine cube contains gold and an Ominous Vault with a guaranteed Heart of the Sea per player (requires a Trident Trial Boss Key).
• Upper area features a dark prismarine maze, coral displays, oxidized copper and copper bulbs that can be activated with axes.
• Conduit frame room guarded by an Elder Guardian; above it is the boss chamber.
• Boss Chamber: 1 Trial Spawner that summons 3 Elder Guardians. Defeat them to obtain a Trident Trial Boss Key. Rarely drops Heart of the Sea (renewable).
• Above the boss chamber: Another Ominous Vault with a guaranteed Trident and extra loot.
• Ominous Trials increase key drop rates and give stronger enemies:
  • Mini Elder Guardians (extra health and damage)
  • Drowned with equipment
• Ominous Elder Guardian Trial Spawner: Instead of 3 Elders, spawns 1 Giant Elder Guardian (160 HP, 16 damage).

Mini Monument Chamber

The 8 Small Monuments around the main structure contain 1 arena with a trial spawner spawning Elder Guardians. good way to ease you in on how this structure works

Labyrinths Center
In the Center of each of the 2 Labyrinths is a room guarded by 1 Elder Guardian and a Grant Prismarine structure, the Classic Dark Prismarine Vault containing gold blocks and 1 Ominous Vault. The other a Conduit Frame and the Entry to the Boss Chamber

Ocean Monument Overhaul
Replacing the normal Ocean Monument this version is much rarer, much MUCH harder and cannot be easely turned into a prismarine farm. but it gives you tridens and hearts of the seas

Lobby
The Main Lobby accesable from the mini monuments around the Main structure contains entries into the different layers of this structure and a Drowned Swarm Trial Spawner in the center of the room. dont get overwealmed

Boss Arena
At the 2nd Highest Point of this structure is a Boss Chamber containing a Trial Spawner spawning 3 Elder Guardians with suport Trial Spawner. The Elder Guardian Trial Spawner always gives out Trident Trial Boss Keys and rarely a heart of the sea

Ominous Trident Trials
The Trial Omen turns any guardian into guardian sized Elder Guardians with 40 HP and 7 Damage. Drowned get Equipment and instead of 3 Elder Guardians you are Greeted by 1 giant Elder Guardian with 160 HP dealing 16 Damage… Good Luck!

Vaults and Trident Trial Keys
This structure relies heavily on Trial Spawner which have the chance to drop Trident Trial keys, you can only use those here and the vaults only accept them. Using the data pack can also be used as Resource pack when put in the Resource pack folder

Labyrinths
The Lower Labyrinth surounds the giant Dark Prismarine vault and is more like the ocean monument you are familiar with. The Higher Labyrinth is made out of Dark Prismarine and Oxidized Copper Bulbs wich you can light up with an axe

Ominous Vaults and Trident Trial Boss Keys
There Exist 2 Ominous Vaults whithin the structure, 1 is in lowest part of the structure and Guranteed to give you a heart of the sea, the other at the highest point guranteed to give you a Trident. They only Accept Trident Trial Boss Keys.
