Better Crystal is a dedicated Minecraft Bedrock Add-on created to completely revamp and rebalance End Crystal combat for multiplayer environments. Standard End Crystal PvP often devolves into rapid, uncoordinated crystal spamming that results in instant, unavoidable deaths and frustration. Better Crystal fixes this broken meta by introducing carefully tuned mechanics that emphasize tactical decision-making, mechanical skill, and positioning over fast clicking.

 

Core features & functionality

Explosion Mitigation: Blast damage and knockback radii are balanced to prevent single-detonation kills and stop players from abuse-spamming crystals to destroy opponents instantly.

Proximity Armor Repair: Detonating an End Crystal triggers a dynamic repair mechanic, restoring a percentage of durability (up to a 256-durability cap) to the player's equipped armor upon explosion.

Bedrock Scripting Engine: Built on native JavaScript using the official Bedrock Scripting API, providing clean event execution and lightweight performance.

By turning End Crystals from purely destructive burst-damage tools into a dual-purpose offensive and defensive utility, Better Crystal forces players to think critically during combat.
