- In-game config via Mod Menu (Cloth Config is bundled)

Dependencies
Required
- Fabric API
- Fabric Loader 0.19.3+
- Java 25+
Optional
- Mod Menu — in-game settings
- SpeedRunIGT — compatible, not required
Singleplayer
- Install Fabric Loader + Fabric API + this mod (Mod Menu recommended).
- Open Mods → Health Drain (or edit
config/healthdrain.json). - Tune interval / hearts / sound as you like.
- Leave Target mode off for a normal solo challenge.
Multiplayer / manhunt
Drain is decided by the server/host config.
- Enable Target mode.
- Set Target player name to the runner’s username.
- Only that player loses max hearts; everyone else is unaffected.
- LAN / Open to LAN: configure on the host via Mod Menu.
- Dedicated server: edit the server’s
config/healthdrain.json(client Mod Menu won’t change the server).
If target mode is on but the name is empty, nobody is drained.
Config
config/healthdrain.json — or Mod Menu tabs: General, Multiplayer, Display, Audio.
