Bedrock Cinematic Studio v1.2.0
BCS — The In-Game Filmmaking Studio for Minecraft Bedrock Edition
Created by GamerBhai
Overview
Bedrock Cinematic Studio (BCS) is an all-in-one filmmaking tool for Minecraft Bedrock Edition
It lets you create Minecraft machinimas, story videos, trailers, action scenes, roleplays, cinematics and shorts without leaving the game.
BCS combines actor recording, NPCs, mob models, cinematic cameras and scene playback into one in-game studio.
Main Features
Multi-Actor Recording
Record multiple characters separately and bring their performances together into one scene.
BCS supports live overdubbing, allowing previously recorded characters to play in the world while you record the next character.
Record actions such as:
- Walking and sprinting
- Sneaking and jumping
- Head movement
- Attacks and arm swings
- Block breaking and placing
- Item usage and drops
- Equipment changes
- Interactions and more
Recordings use 20 TPS precision for smooth playback.
Actor Skins
Give every actor their own skin.
BCS includes 10+ built-in player skins, and each actor can use a different skin without affecting the others.
Skins and poses are also handled independently, so changing an actor's pose will not unexpectedly change their appearance.
NPC Studio
The new Model Wand lets you create and edit NPCs directly in your world.
You can spawn NPCs and customize their:
- Skin and appearance
- Pose and animations
- Health
- Game mode
- Cinematic properties
NPCs can be used alongside players and recorded actors to create larger scenes.
Actor & NPC Health
Actors and NPCs can be configured to behave like normal characters or completely invincible cinematic characters.
Survival Mode allows them to take damage and die.
Creative Mode makes them invincible for scenes where you don't want characters to be affected by combat or the environment.
You can also set custom NPC health from 1 to 100,000 HP.
Cinematic Camera Editor
BCS includes a camera editor with ready-to-use cinematic presets.
Available camera styles include:
- 3rd Person Back
- Follow
- Front Follow
- Orbit
- Over-the-Shoulder
- Close Back
- Wide Drone
- Top-Down
- Face Camera
- Custom Keyframes
You can select a player, actor or NPC as the camera's target.
Follow and Orbit cameras dynamically track the selected character as they move.
Camera Keyframes
Create your own cinematic camera paths using in-world keyframes.
Control:
- Position
- Rotation
- FOV
- Timing
- Easing
Multiple easing options help create smooth camera movements for cinematic shots.
Mob Morph Studio
Turn actors into Minecraft mobs during playback.
Use mobs such as zombies, skeletons, creepers, spiders, villagers, pigs, wolves, golems and many others.
BCS also supports custom entity IDs, allowing modded or custom entities to be used for cinematic characters.
85+ Mob Models
BCS includes a large collection of Minecraft mob models for use with Actors, NPCs and Morphs.
This includes animals, aquatic mobs, hostile mobs, villagers, golems and many other entities.
Villager and Iron Golem models have also been integrated with custom models, animations and textures for better cinematic rendering.
Custom Scene Timing
Set the exact duration of your scene.
If an actor finishes their recording before the scene ends, BCS automatically holds their final position and pose until the scene is finished.
This makes it easier to create longer camera shots without needing to extend every recording.
Improved Animations
Actors now have improved animations for common cinematic actions.
Mining continues smoothly until a block is broken, attacks properly animate the arms, and sneaking has dedicated idle and walking animations.
Animation transitions are blended smoothly to avoid sudden movement or snapping.
