Fungal Infection Spore Infnexus Mod extends Fungal Infection: Spore with stationary infection cores that slowly corrupt the world. The Nexus establishes a foothold in your land and transforms the terrain into dangerous fungal biomass. Players must fight back against evolving invasion waves and reduce the core power to save their base. You can destroy the Nexus completely by setting up special cooling units around it.

Features:

• Creates a permanent infection core that spreads fungal corruption outward in an expanding radius.
• Converts nearby ground, water, and plants into living fungal biomass over time.
• Reshapes the terrain into mounds, hills, cracks, and craters filled with bile.
• Spawns unique fungal biomes with custom flora and structures based on the world seed.
• Tracks an individual Power value for each Nexus to manage its behavior and stage.
• Allows players to push back phases by eliminating infected mobs inside the territory.
• Suspends attack systems temporarily when players keep up steady combat pressure.
• Enables complete core destruction by running at least four active CDUs within 20 blocks.
• Restores invulnerable protection shields if active CDU counts fall below the limit.

Infection Phases:

• Phase I (Capture): Establishes the initial infection point and starts slow outward expansion.
• Phase II (Hunt): Puts active pressure on players and guards infected territory.
• Phase III (Expand): Accelerates terrain spread and increases infected mob spawns.
• Phase IV (Siege): Takes full regional control and launches coordinated large-scale attacks.

Configuration:

• config/infnexus-common.toml: contains settings for all major systems, phase power thresholds, and CDU requirements.

How to Use:

1. Locate an anchored Nexus core spreading corruption in the world.
2. Defeat infected mobs inside the territory to drain the core power and lower its phase.
3. Place and maintain at least four active CDUs within 20 blocks of the core.
4. Attack the vulnerable Nexus directly once the CDUs disable its shield.
