LimitedEconomy
LimitedEconomy is a dynamic economy plugin for Paper 1.20.1. It introduces a self-balancing currency: the price automatically rises as more money is issued, and falls when money is burned back — the reserve is always protected.

How it works

• Virtual balance stored per player (the "Cloud").
• Physical banknotes — withdraw your virtual money as stackable, trackable paper items.
• Dynamic pricing — the buying price is calculated from a formula based on the current circulation ratio (issued / total reserve).
• Banker NPCs — right-click a villager to open the trading GUI, buy or sell currency at the live price.
• Admin Shops — build your own villager shops with up to 9 custom trades.

Features

• Dynamic buy/sell pricing with a configurable formula (base rate f, starting rate q0, decay lambda, reserve protection gamma).
• Physical banknotes that stack naturally and are tracked with serial numbers.
• /money inspect — check the serials and transfer history of a banknote stack.
• /money pack — combine banknotes of the same currency.
• Thread-safe, asynchronous auto-saving of all data (no lag spikes).
• Reserve protection — the total issued amount can never exceed the total reserve.
• Anti-burn protection — destroying banknotes (fire, lava, despawn) reduces the circulation amount automatically.
• Fully translatable messages in messages.yml (English included, color codes supported).
• Vault and PlaceholderAPI support.

Requirements

Setup

1. Drop the plugin into the plugins/ folder and restart the server.
2. Create your first currency: /createm Gold ingot <lore> 10000 (use _ for spaces).
3. Configure the formula and the items used for trading in the creation GUI.
4. Spawn a Banker: /spawnnpc Gold — players can now trade.
