About
AutoBroadcast is a lightweight Paper and Spigot plugin that keeps your server chat alive by sending automatic announcements to every online player at the interval you choose. It is built for store promotions, Discord invites, server rules, events, and any other message you want to keep in rotation without asking staff to post it by hand.
You can create as many announcements as you need, and each one can span multiple lines. Formatting supports classic legacy color codes, hex colors, optional MiniMessage for gradients, click events and hover text, and automatic centering with a simple center tag. Every broadcast can also play a configurable sound so the message is harder to miss in chat.
You decide how often announcements are sent and how many players must be online before anything is posted. When you update your messages, reload the configuration instantly without restarting the server.
Installation
Drop the jar into your plugins folder, start or restart the server, edit plugins/AutoBroadcast/config.yml, then run /autobroadcast reload to apply your changes.
Commands
/autobroadcast reload reloads the configuration on the fly. The same command is also available as /ab reload and /abcast reload.
Permissions
autobroadcast.reload is required to reload the plugin and is granted to operators by default.
Configuration
Everything lives under announcements in config.yml. You can enable or disable the system, set the delay in seconds, require a minimum number of online players, switch between legacy formatting and MiniMessage, and choose whether a sound should play with every broadcast. Each announcement is a named list of lines that the plugin cycles through in order.
Legacy mode supports codes such as &a, &l, hex colors like &#FF5733, and centered chat with <center>text</center>. MiniMessage mode adds tags such as <red>, <bold>, <gradient:gold:yellow>, <click>, and <hover>, while still supporting the same center tag.
