Light Dark Hell

The sky is blinding white. Everything else is pitch black. The only light in this world is the light you carry.

A world reduced to Silhouette, isnt it frightening how far a simple change can go?

There is no sun in the sky. The sky itself is just a white sea of nothingness

You start with one torch. Not a stack. One.

Everything here is the same. good luck navigating the nether with the lack of fog or sky. cherish that one torch you have.

This mod doesnt REQUIRE YACL, but its reccomended. thats why its in the dependencies.

Unfortunately you'll have to manually fiddle around with the config to understand what it does.

Compatibility

The effect works by hooking Minecraft's own light map and shader uniforms. Mods that replace those wholesale — Iris / Oculus shaderpacks in particular — will most likely override it and you'll see a normal world.

Optimisation mods that keep the vanilla lighting pipeline should be fine, but this hasn't been tested broadly. Reports welcome.
