Villager Wear Armor Mod (26.2, 1.20.1) – Protect Your Village Traders

Villager Wear Armor Mod lets you equip your village traders with helmets, chestplates, and boots to protect them from dangerous mobs. You can give armor to both adults and babies to keep them safe during zombie attacks. Some villagers can also spawn naturally with protective gear across your world.

Features:

• Villagers can equip helmets, chestplates, and boots made of leather, gold, iron, or diamond.
• Dyed leather armor keeps its custom colors when worn by villagers.
• Armor takes durability damage in fights and breaks once it wears out completely.
• Works on both adult and baby villagers to keep the whole town safe.
• Farmers cannot wear helmets, so becoming a farmer removes any equipped helmet.
• Some villagers spawn naturally wearing partial or full sets of armor in world villages.

Naturally Armored Villagers:

• Leather armor is the most common natural spawn gear.
• Iron and gold gear sets appear occasionally on random villagers.
• Diamond gear is rare to find naturally equipped.
• Natural armor cannot be removed by hand and only drops when the villager is defeated.

How to Use:

1. Hold a helmet, chestplate, or pair of boots in your main hand.
2. Right-click on a villager to put the armor piece onto them.
3. Sneak and right-click with an empty hand to remove player-given armor.
