Enchanted Ores
Every ore block glows with a soft, animated enchantment shimmer on the block, in your hand, in the hotbar, and in your inventory.

Features:
- 18 ore blocks covered: Coal, Iron, Copper, Gold, Redstone, Lapis Lazuli, Diamond, and Emerald Ore, plus all of their Deepslate variants, along with Nether Gold Ore and Nether Quartz Ore.
- Smooth, animated shimmer in the same purple/lavender tones as Vanilla's own enchantment glint — no harsh stripes, no flat overlay, just a soft glow that gently moves across the block.
- Seamless tiling: the shimmer lines up perfectly across adjacent blocks of the same ore, so a whole wall of ore reads as one continuous, organic wave instead of an obviously repeating tile.
- Automatically shows everywhere: since Minecraft reuses the block texture for the item icon, the glow appears on the placed block, in your hand, in the hotbar, and in the inventory with zero extra setup.
- Texture-only, no gameplay changes: no datapack, no commands, no NBT editing required — just drop it in and go.
How it works:
The shimmer's color is derived from Minecraft's own vanilla enchantment-glint texture, blended into copies of the real ore textures and baked as a set of lightweight animation frames at the vanilla ore texture paths. No custom block models or blockstates are touched, which keeps the pack simple and broadly compatible.
Not included:
- Ancient Debris it uses a different block shape (top/bottom vs. side textures) than the other ores, so it isn't covered yet.
