🏛️ CurseForge Title

Retro Structures: Echoes of the Past

Short Summary

Rediscover 13 forgotten Minecraft structures and uncover their history with the interactive Chronicle.

📜 Full Description — Ready to Paste

🏛️ Retro Structures: Echoes of the Past

What if the forgotten structures of Minecraft's past could return?

Retro Structures brings 13 forgotten structures inspired by Minecraft's history back into your modern world.

Explore, discover, and learn about structures from Minecraft's early development and classic eras—including forgotten village buildings, Infdev structures, the Nether Reactor Spire, and more.

But this isn't just a structure addon.

📖 The Chronicle

Begin your journey with the Chronicle, an interactive historical guide.

Turn through its pages to learn about the forgotten structures of Minecraft:

Then leave the book behind and discover these structures naturally while exploring your world.

🔮 Antigravity Core

The Antigravity Core lets you interact with the echoes of Minecraft's past and trigger forgotten structures.

Discover ancient technology, activate it, and watch the past return to your world.

🏗️ 13 Forgotten Structures

Discover structures inspired by Minecraft's development history, including:

💬 In-Game Guide & Commands

The addon includes an in-game information system for discovering and learning about structures.

Use:

!help
!structures
!list
!spawn
!locate
!info <structure>
!stats

For example:

!info brick_pyramid

will provide historical information about the structure.

⚙️ Installation & Required Settings

📱 Minecraft Bedrock Edition

This addon contains both:

When creating your world:

1️⃣ Activate the Behavior Pack

Go to:

World Settings → Add-Ons → Behavior Packs → Available Packs

Find Retro Structures and activate it.

2️⃣ Activate the Resource Pack

Then go to:

World Settings → Add-Ons → Resource Packs → Available Packs

Find Retro Structures and activate it.

3️⃣ Required Experiments

For the current v2.3 build, no experimental gameplay toggle is intentionally required by the addon.

If your Minecraft version shows an experimental-feature requirement during activation, enable the specifically requested experiment shown by your game rather than enabling unrelated experiments.

4️⃣ Create / Load the World

Enter the world after both packs are active.

Explore your world and the structure-generation system will begin detecting suitable locations around players.

⚠️ Important Version Requirement

The current addon manifest targets Bedrock 1.21.0+ and uses:

@minecraft/server 1.17.0
@minecraft/server-ui 1.3.0

However, if this is specifically being submitted to the 2026 Echoes of the Past ModJam, the official contest page requires submitted projects to support Minecraft 26.1 or higher.

So before pressing the final contest submission button, make sure the exact build you're uploading supports 26.1+. Your personal successful test is great, but contest compatibility is a separate requirement.

🎮 Recommended Gameplay

For the best experience:

Create a new survival world → activate BP + RP → enter the world → explore.

Don't immediately use commands to spawn everything.

The addon is designed around the feeling of discovering something that shouldn't still exist.

🕰️ Echoes of the Past

Minecraft has changed for years.

Some structures disappeared.

Some experiments were abandoned.

Some designs were replaced.

Retro Structures brings those forgotten pieces back—not as museum exhibits, but as things you can discover inside your own Minecraft world.

Explore the past. Discover the forgotten. Create new memories.
