Groovy | Vanilla Textures with improved lighting and depth! | Shaders
Minecraft Java resource pack. Download on the author's site.
⬇ DownloadHey there, thanks for checking out my resourcepack: Groovy. This resourcepack adds PBR based details to the regular textures of vanilla. This means the textures have more depth to them, and light sources can reflect on their surfaces.
Here is a quick comparison video showing all of the currently updated textures, as well as their vanilla counterpart:

If you create any cool screenshots/videos/other content using this pack, please let me know! I will consider adding it to this post in order to promote the pack ;)
Requirements
In order to see the effects added by this resourcepack, it is required to have Optifine installed with a shaderpack. I recommend getting Complementary Shaders as my resourcepack has been optimized for this shaderpack. Complementary Shaders is based on BSL, so downloading BSL would work as well!
Installation Tutorial
Watch this video or this video (thanks CraftStones!) to see how to install the pack!
3D effects aren't showing up?
Make sure the following setting is turned on (in Complementary Shaders):
Materials > PBR Materials: ON
Materials > Normalmap Related Settings > Parallax Occlusion Mapping: ON
Shader Settings
If you want to apply the same settings as I have in my game, follow these steps:
1. Create a new .txt file in your shaderpacks folder and name it: ComplementaryShaders_VERSION.zip.txt
2. Replace VERSION with the version of Complementary Shaders that you are using (so f.e. 'ComplementaryShaders_3.10.zip.txt')
3. Go to https://pastebin.com/0A8zNhN1 and copy/paste these settings into the text file
Done!

This pack was originally created by Arkadya, and can be found here:

I asked for permission to update the pack, since it hasn't been updated in some time. Arkadya said it was fine. So at first I started updating that pack to v3. But while I was working on adding more textures, I decided to rework the whole pack and add more features than part of the original. So in the end I decided to release my pack under a new name! That's how PBR+ was born.
