Planet of Mobs

Planet of Mobs (PoM) is an add-on that was previously part of another resource pack — HIDYK's REALM. It aims to add variations to mobs and alter their appearance while maintaining the vanilla gameplay style.
A key feature of this resource pack is its complex randomization system, which combines a multitude of visual details for certain mobs. For example, thanks to this system, you can encounter over 60 BILLION variations of zombies across different biomes in the game—and that’s just the “beginning”!

All mobs will be included in the resource pack?

Unfortunately, outdated content was removed prior to release, so the resource pack currently only includes variations for zombies, creepers, slimes, iron golems, and skeletons, but this is only temporary! Later on, random variations of animals and other entities will return to the resource pack, but in a more polished form, which will make your gaming experience more diverse and terrifying: after all, it’s hard not to be horrified by the sight of cave zombies...

You can get into the resource pack

For hidons members (subscribers to my Boosty) with a Tier IV subscription, there’s an opportunity to suggest an idea for a unique easter mob that references them!
These mobs are guaranteed to appear in future updates: this currently takes a particularly long time, given the slow development pace of the resource pack.

Important

Two mods are required for the resource pack to work: EMF and ETF. Without them, the variations and models for all mobs will not appear in the game.

• Adding resource pack to modpacks, modifying or using its individual components for these purposes, with my authorship indicated in the “Members”, ‘Relations’ sections on CurseForge or in the “Creators”, “Dependencies” section on Modrtinth with a share of the income from downloads (determined individually, during discussion)
