PlsGoDie - Fake Death Fixer
Java mod listed for Minecraft 1.16–1.21. Downloads from the MC Java Mods app on Android.
I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.
PlsGoDie
PlsGoDie is a Minecraft mod that fixes an annoying issue where mobs can appear "stuck" in a death state if their health is artificially restored by other mods or code after entering the death sequence.
Once a mob is killed, this mod ensures it truly dies, preventing visual glitches like the red overlay or tilted body effects.
Do note that this is not a NaN health fixer, as the entities' health is still present.
Features
- Forces mobs to stay dead once they enter the death sequence.
- Prevents false death animations caused by other mods or code that modify mob health.
- Configurable blacklist to exempt specific entity types.
How It Works
- Tracks mobs that enter the death sequence and records the damage source responsible.
- Each tick, checks if a "dead" mob has been revived artificially. (boolean check, quiet quick. without any performance issue)
- If the mob is revived, re-applies the fatal damage to ensure proper death.
- If the entity is still alive after the fatal damage, we force-remove it from your world (disable by default, configurable)
- Blacklisted entities are ignored to prevent unintended side effects.
Note
- config reloadable during the game by
/reload - May cause unexpected entity removal (hmmm not quite possible but nothing is impossible in Forge world). That's why the files are tagged as
beta. Use at your risk. Report bugs on GitHub.
