Chainmail Armor Crafting
Chainmail Armor has always been a unique challenge in Minecraft Survival, traditionally only obtainable through mob drops or villager trading. This simple, vanilla-friendly datapack solves that by introducing proper crafting recipes that use the most logical material: Chains!
No more relying on luck; you can now forge your own set using the Chains you collect or craft, seamlessly integrating this armor tier into your survival progression.
🔑 Features
Four New Recipes: Adds crafting recipes for the Chainmail Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots.
Thematic Material: Recipes utilize the Chain item, giving this block/item a meaningful role in armor progression.
Balanced Cost: The recipes are designed to be a good investment of Iron Ingots (since Chains require Iron Ingots and a Nugget), making Chainmail a perfectly balanced choice between Gold and Iron armor.
Seamless Integration: This is a pure datapack that works in any vanilla survival world on the correct version. No mods or resource packs required!
⚙️ Crafting Recipe
The recipe follows the standard armor pattern, using Chains instead of ingots
