Welcome to AVP (Human)! This Minecraft mod is made in 1.21.1 and is home to human-related content from the Alien, Predator and AVP franchises. The mod is currently available for Fabric and NeoForge.

MIGRATING FROM "AVP"

If you are migrating from the 1.21.1 "AVP" mod (found here: https://modrinth.com/mod/avp) to the split up AVP files, you MUST use ALL modules provided (Alien, Human and Predator) to avoid losing data in your worlds and/or corrupting your worlds. Do not use the standalone AVP mod as it will no longer be updated.

Also, please BACK UP YOUR WORLDS before migrating! The different modules should migrate their respective content automatically, but it never hurts to back things up just in case! :)

Features

Colonial Marines

Recruit and command intelligent marine NPCs with advanced Goal-Oriented Action Planning (GOAP) AI:

• Full Inventory System - 27-slot inventory for weapons, armor, and supplies.

Marines spawn naturally in military structures and as patrols throughout your world or can be recruited to defend your base.

• F903WE Rifle - Reliable semi-automatic rifle. 32-round capacity.
• M4RA Battle Rifle - Precision marksman rifle. 90-round capacity.
• M42A3 Sniper Rifle - Long-range rifle with 128-block effective range.
• M56 Smartgun - High-velocity smartgun with 500-round drum.
• Old Painless - Heavy rotating minigun for sustained fire.
• M88 Mod4 Combat Pistol - Reliable sidearm. 18-round magazine.
• M37/12 Shotgun - Close-quarters devastation.
• ZX-76 Shotgun - Alternative pump-action shotgun.
• M6B Rocket Launcher - Explosive ordnance launcher.
• Flamethrower Sevastopol - Area-denial flame weapon.
• Grenades - Standard explosive, incendiary, and irradiated variants for tactical options.

Armor Sets

Protect yourself with 8 complete armor sets, each with 4 pieces (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots):

• Steel Armor - Durable armor that is a tier above iron.
• Titanium Armor - Superior protection with the highest durability, offering a nice middle ground between iron and diamonds.
• Tactical Armor - Military-grade combat armor that offers bullet resistance.
• Tactical Camo Armor - Camouflage variant of the tactical armor.
• Pressure Suit - Environmental protection for hazardous conditions. Allows you to permanently breathe underwater!
• WY Commando Armor - Advanced corporate military gear. Wearing the helmet gives you night vision!
• WY Elite Armor - Top-tier Weyland-Yutani equipment
• MK50 Armor - Specialized armor that protects you from radiation.
• APE Armor - All-around defensive armor that protects you from fire, cold and even facehuggers from avp: alien or gigeresque!

Defensive Blocks

Sentry Turret - Deploy automated defensive turrets with:

• Configurable field of view and targeting range.
• Integration with ammo chests for automatic reloading.
• Adjustable damage output.

Razor Wire - Defensive barriers that damage entities on contact

Building Materials

Over 150 building blocks across multiple material types, each with full stair and slab variants:

Steel Blocks

• Steel plating, grating, fastened siding, and tread patterns.
• Doors, trapdoors, bars, chain fences, and columns.
• Buttons and pressure plates.

Titanium Blocks

• Complete parallel set to steel with titanium variants.
• Superior aesthetics for high-tech installations.

Ferroaluminum Blocks

• Full suite of industrial building materials.

Industrial Blocks

• Industrial concrete and glass variants.
• Padding blocks for interior spaces.
• Plastic blocks for utilitarian construction.

Colored Concrete

• Stairs and slabs for all 16 dye colors.

Radiation System

A dynamic radiation mechanic with three phases:

1. Incubation (0-20%) - No damage as the body adjusts.
2. Peak Damage (20-80%) - Maximum radiation sickness with escalating side effects.
3. Taper-off (80-100%) - Symptoms subside as the effect wears off.

Side effects progress from weakness and hunger to slowness and blindness at higher exposure levels. Radiation-resistant armor provides protection.

Radioactive Materials:

• Autunite ore and blocks emit radiation.
• Irradiated grenades spread contamination.
• Lead chests provide shielded storage for radioactive items.

Gene System

A genetics system allowing modification of entity attributes:

• Gene Reader - Analyze genetic traits on entities.
• Syringe - Apply genetic modifications.
• Multiple gene types affecting attributes, applying effects, or serving as markers.

Resources & Crafting

New Ores:

• Titanium Ore (including deepslate variant).
• Bauxite Ore (aluminum source).
• Galena Ore (lead source).
• Monazite Ore.
• Autunite Ore (radioactive).
• Lithium Ore (reactive).
• Zinc Ore (including deepslate variant).

Processed Materials:

• Steel, Titanium, Lead, Brass, Aluminum, Uranium, Zinc, and Ferroaluminum ingots.
• Carbon dust, lithium dust, and silicon.

Electronics:

• CPUs, diodes, integrated circuits, LEDs, resistors, transistors, capacitors, servos, and more!

Weapon Components:

• Barrels, grips, stocks, receivers, and specialized parts for crafting firearms.

Tools:

• Steel and Titanium tool sets (pickaxe, axe, hoe, shovel, sword).

Structures

Military installations spawn naturally throughout your world:

• Marine Camp - Squad encampments with marines and supplies.
• Supply Outpost - Resource depots (grassland, desert, and badlands variants).
• Munitions Outpost - Weapons and ammunition production.
• Communications Outpost - Signal relay and command centers.
• Mobile Lab - Portable research facilities.

Each structure contains loot chests, marine patrols, and defensive positions.

Utility Items

• Ammo Chest - Specialized storage that feeds ammunition to turrets and marines.
• Lead Chest - Radiation-shielded storage for hazardous materials.
• Industrial Furnace - Faster smelting for building block recipes.
• Armor Case - Compact armor storage. Stores a full set in a single slot!
• Canisters - Transport water, lava, milk, and powder snow with increased storage, 8x that of a bucket!
• Dog Tags - Identity items for marines to remember the fallen.
• Gun Blueprints - Collectible crafting components for all weapons.

Villager Integration

Commissary - A new villager profession with 5 trading levels offering military supplies, ammunition, and equipment.
