Baking with Dough
The author built this one for Minecraft 1.20.1 on Forge. On other versions it may install and then do nothing.
This mod adds several unbaked food items, such as cookies, bread, etc.
Dough and Unbaked items cannot be eaten. It must be smelted in a furnace to turn into the regular version. This makes bread and cookies slightly harder to obtain in the early game and adds a small progression step to basic food crafting. The addition of new unbaked items also makes crafting things like cakes more realistic.

This mod is made for my modpack Permadeath+ but works perfectly fine on its own.
Of course you are allowed to use this in your modpack!
