Epic Fight x Paragliders Compat V3 completely transforms how stamina, equipment, animations, and weapon attacks work together.

Originally created to connect Epic Fight’s combat system with Paragliders stamina, Version 3 expands the mod into a highly configurable combat framework designed for players and modpack creators who want deeper, more tactical gameplay.

Basic attacks, jump attacks, innate skills, dodges, armor weight, weapon categories, ParCool movement, and several Epic Fight skills can now interact with one unified stamina system.

No more free attack spam. No more wearing the heaviest armor without consequences. Every movement and every attack now matters.

🔥 What’s New in Version 3?

🏃 Full ParCool Compatibility

Version 3 introduces expanded compatibility with ParCool and Epic ParCool.

ParCool movement can now work alongside the Paragliders stamina system, allowing advanced movement and combat to feel like part of the same experience.

When the player runs out of stamina, new tired animations can visually communicate exhaustion instead of the player simply losing access to certain actions.

🗡️ Automatic Weapon Category Detection

The mod can now automatically detect weapons based on their assigned Epic Fight weapon category.

Supported categories include weapons such as:

• Greatswords
• Longswords
• Tachi
• Spears
• Daggers
• Axes
• Other categorized Epic Fight weapons

Instead of configuring every individual weapon manually, stamina settings can now be applied based on the weapon’s category.

This system also supports most weapons from Weapons of Miracles and many weapons provided by compatible Epic Fight addons.

⚙️ Advanced Attack Configuration

Version 3 gives modpack creators far more control over how weapons consume stamina.

You can configure stamina usage for:

• Basic attacks
• Jump attacks
• Innate skills

These values can be customized across supported weapon categories, allowing each weapon type to have its own stamina identity.

For example:

• Heavy greatswords can consume large amounts of stamina.
• Daggers can remain fast and stamina-efficient.
• Longswords can provide a balanced middle ground.
• Powerful innate skills can require careful stamina management.

This makes it much easier to balance large modpacks containing hundreds of weapons.

🛡️ Armor-Based Stamina Scaling

One of the largest additions in Version 3 is the new optional armor-based stamina scaling system.

When enabled, the stamina cost of an action can increase based on the player’s total armor points.

The amount of scaling is fully configurable.

This means:

• Players wearing no armor can move and attack more efficiently.
• Lightly armored players consume less stamina.
• Full Netherite armor consumes more stamina.
• Modded armor with extremely high armor values can consume even more.
• Heavy protection now comes with a meaningful stamina tradeoff.

Instead of every armor set feeling identical during combat, equipment weight and protection can now directly affect stamina management.

This option pairs especially well with Epic Fight Poise, creating a natural choice between mobility and heavy defensive builds:

🎬 Epic Fight Animation Priority

Using Epic Fight and Better Combat together can sometimes cause third-person animation conflicts.

Version 3 adds a configurable option that allows Epic Fight’s third-person animations to take priority over Better Combat animations.

This provides a more consistent visual experience for players who want to use features from both combat systems in the same modpack.

⚡ Core Stamina Integration

Epic Fight combat actions can consume Paragliders stamina, connecting movement and combat to the same resource.

Supported actions include:

✅ Basic attacks consume stamina
✅ Jump attacks consume stamina
✅ Innate skills consume stamina

Every attack now requires more awareness and planning.

Repeatedly attacking without managing stamina can leave the player exhausted and vulnerable, while careful timing and resource management are rewarded.

• Stamina Pillager works with Paragliders stamina.
• Adrenaline Fiend works with Paragliders stamina.
• All Eyez on Me works with Paragliders stamina.
• All Eyez on You works with Paragliders stamina.

These integrations allow skills that were originally designed around Epic Fight stamina to remain useful when Paragliders stamina is being used as the primary combat resource.
