THIS MOD IS IN BETA, IT SUCKS, COME BACK IN 6 MONTHS OR SO AND IT WILL BE WAY BETTER!!!

Jim's Mine (I can't think of a good name uh we're gonna call it that for now) is a mod that transforms Minecraft's Mineshafts into a multi level horror extraction / looter game! It is the mod from my video "I turned Minecraft into an Extraction game" here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMPuvXGKcLk.

Enter an elevator in a shafthouse, and you're brought to an abandoned copper mine, haunted by demonic entities from long ago. Mine copper and find loot to purchase better gear, to suvive harder levels as you go! It's been a lot of fun to play with friends, if you have those ig. Currently I have 5 levels set up for you guys, hopefully I'll have some more soon.

BEFORE YOU PLAY, YOU MUST DO THE FOLLOWING:

FOR A QUICK TUTORIAL WATCH THIS VIDEO - https://youtu.be/525SBKfhvSc

  1. Preload the dimensions. Because loading the schematic is so intensive, it causes the cart to lag and mechanics to break when entering a dimension for the first time. To get around this, before you start playing, type /matchsendtolevel for each dimension, and make sure you're not in spectator mode:
    1. /matchsendtolevel 1
    2. /matchsendtolevel 2
    3. /matchsendtolevel 3
    4. /matchsendtolevel 4
    5. /matchsendtolevel 5
    6. /matchsendtolevel shop
    7. To get back to the surface, type /matchsendtolevel 0. I'll try to fix this in the future, but for now you'll need to run these commands before starting the game!
  2. Type /spawnloot. It just spawns the loot. Very simple. I seperated it from the level generation to reduce lag.
  3. To load player skins for the skin stealer entity, create a new folder inside of your config folder, titled "jimsmineshaft". Place copies of your, and up to 7 others, skins, and name them player1, player2, player3, etc. Then in game, type /matchsetplayer [their skin number] [their name] to set them as the skin owner. For example, if my skin was in the folder as player5, I would type /matchsetplayer 5 itsjim_. Make sure the player name is spelled exactly right with proper capitalization. The skin stealer guy is currently bugged and kinda a let down (he doesn't activate unless you hit him) but I will change that very soon!

A few other things.

Hm, what else. Idk. There's a lot of bugs. This is a beta for sure. If you have questions ask them in my discord we have a channel for this.
