Crystal Draft

Crystal Draft is a guided-building Mod.

Instead of turning building into one-click printing, Crystal Draft gives you tools to plan structures, preview them in-world, verify progress, and place blocks by hand with much better control.

What the mod adds

Crystal Draft is built around two core systems:

• Trowels for palette-based placement, presets, previews, and controlled building modes
• Crystal Projector for hologram blueprints, slice views, verification, schematic capture, and collaborative building

Trowels

Trowels are building tools designed for real survival use.

They support:

• multiple placement modes
• per-item presets
• weighted palette mixing
• ghost previews
• inventory-backed placement
• durability and cooldown
• tier-based scaling

Available building workflows include:

• single block placement
• face extension
• row / column placement
• line placement
• exposed surface patching
• projector-assisted completion with Project Fill

Trowels are meant to speed up repetitive building without removing the need to actually build.

Crystal Projector

The Crystal Projector previews a local blueprint directly in the world as a hologram.

It supports:

• local blueprint library loading from .nbt structure files
• transform controls
• anchor and XYZ nudge
• ghost / wire / mismatch projection styles
• full build, single-layer, below-layer, and auto-slice projection modes
• progress verification against the real world
• auto-advance through slices
• optional auto-off when the full project is complete

The projector is built to help with real construction, cleanup, and precision alignment.

Schematic Capture

Crystal Draft can also capture a section of the world and turn it into a local blueprint.

Capture tools include:

• custom output name
• width / height / depth controls
• anchor selection
• XYZ nudge
• in-world capture bounds overlay

This makes it easy to create reusable local schematics from your own builds.

Multiplayer

Projector state is shared, so multiple players can work on the same build.

Crystal Draft also includes an optional blueprint sync flow: if one player opens a projector for a blueprint they do not have locally, they can download that blueprint to their own client when the feature is enabled in config.

This makes cooperative building much smoother without turning the server into a permanent schematic host.

Creative Utilities

In Creative mode, the projector can also Place All and force-match the projected structure in the world.

This is useful for fast setup, testing, and map or scene preparation.

Config and Feature Gating

Crystal Draft uses one main config file:

config/crystaldraft/crystaldraft-config.json

From there you can enable or disable major features, including:

• creative projector build
• blueprint download sync
• auto-off on completion
• GOML claim protection integration
