AcroWield - True Dual Wield & Vanilla+ Combat

AcroWield is a vanilla-friendly action combat mod that introduces innovative mechanics while preserving the classic Minecraft feel. Enhance your strategy with dual wielding, dodging, crouch blocking, parrying, and shield bashing, and experience truly acrobatic and dynamic combat.

It also significantly enhances crossbows, allowing for devastating close-range multishot blasts and powerful piercing attacks.

 

Features

Dual Wielding: You can now attack using weapons in your off-hand. Whether it’s twin swords or a sword-and-axe combo, you can fight with your favorite weapon pairing.

Dodging (Dash): Perform a fast dash with a short period of invincibility (default: V key). Dodging in combination with movement keys allows for forward charges, sidesteps, and backsteps. However, frequent dashing reduces hunger, so use it wisely.

Crouch-to-Block: Just like in Bedrock Edition, you can now use your shield by crouching. This allows for advanced tactics, such as attacking with a spear while maintaining a constant guard.

Just Guard (Parry): Time your block perfectly to trigger a "Just Guard." This not only knocks back enemies but also consumes zero shield durability.

Shield Bash: Perform a dash while guarding to execute a "Shield Bash." Charge through enemies to deal minor damage and knock them back at the cost of shield durability.

Projectile Deflection: By swinging your weapon with perfect timing, you can deflect incoming projectiles such as arrows.

Crossbow Multishot (Shotgun): Arrows and Firework Rockets fired from a crossbow with the Multishot enchantment will now hit the same mob multiple times. By firing at point-blank range, it can be used as a weapon that unleashes overwhelming burst damage.

Crossbow Piercing (Drill Hit & Carpet Bombing): Arrows fired from a crossbow with the Piercing enchantment will now hit multiple times depending on the size of the enemy, making it highly effective against large mobs. Firework Rockets will now trigger a chain of explosions upon impact, wiping out enemies in a straight line.

Improved Sweep Attacks:  You can now configure sweep attacks to trigger only when crouching and at full charge. This prevents accidental sweeps and adds more tactical depth to your melee combat.

Dynamic Empty Offhand Rendering: Your empty offhand (left arm) is now fully rendered in first-person view, just like the main hand.

 

All of these features can be toggled on and off in the configuration. They are all enabled by default.

If you wish to disable any feature, open the acrowield.json file inside your config folder and change its setting from true to false.
