Trials Backport
The author built this one for Minecraft 1.20.1 on Forge. On other versions it may install and then do nothing.
Trials Chambers — Forge 1.20.1 (DNT Compatible Fork)
This is an unofficial fork of Trials Chambers by Jusey1 for Forge 1.20.1. All credit for the original mod, structures, and concept goes to Jusey1. This fork is maintained separately and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the original author.
What this fork adds over the original:
Mace mechanics rewrite (faithful to vanilla 1.21)
- Attack speed corrected to −3.4 (vanilla accurate)
- Heavy smash threshold lowered to 5 blocks (from 10)
- Smash damage calculated via
LivingHurtEventfor correct stacking with attributes - Tiered fall-distance bonus: +4/block for first 3 blocks, +2/block for next 5, +1/block beyond 8
- Density enchantment bonus (+0.5/block/level)
- Wind Burst enchantment launches the attacker upward with 60-tick fall immunity window
- Breach enchantment corrected to 15% armor reduction per level (vanilla accurate)
Wind charge fixes
- Cooldown corrected to 10 ticks (vanilla accurate)
- Ender pearl redirect: throwing a pearl into a wind charge teleports you to the wind charge's position
- Wind charge properly discards itself after pearl redirect (no followup explosion lag)
- Projectile scan radius reduced for better performance
- TPS optimization: air-block early-exit skip on tick
Dungeons and Taverns 5.1.0 compatibility
- Full trial spawner translation: DNT's 1.21-format spawner configs are translated at runtime to the mod's NBT format — spawners use the correct mob type from DNT's configuration
- Decorated pots in trial chambers drop loot (emeralds, arrows, gunpowder, pottery sherds, and more)
