Mekanism: Utilities

Mekanism: Utilities (MekUt) is a utility-focused addon that expands the Mekanism ecosystem together with Applied Energistics 2 and several of their addons.

Rather than introducing an entirely new progression, MekUt focuses on improving convenience, automation, and compatibility while adding new machines and processing options that naturally fit into Mekanism.

Expanded Ore Processing

MekUt extends Mekanism's ore processing system to many minerals that normally cannot take advantage of Mekanism's duplication chain.

For example, with Diamond:

• Diamond Ore drops Raw Diamond instead of Diamonds.
• Raw Diamond can be processed through Mekanism's ore processing chain.
• The final yield is equivalent to the duplication rate available for metal ores.

New Machines

Tweaked Energized Smelter

A modified Energized Smelter that extracts Experience as a chemical while processing items.

The extracted Experience is used for several MekUt crafting materials and can also be converted back into player experience using the XP Tank.

Small Digital Assembler

A compact manufacturing machine for MekUt recipes.

It can also process recipes from the Extended AE Crystal Assembler.

Small Digital Reaction Chamber

A compact reaction machine capable of processing:

• MekUt recipes
• Mekanism Pressurized Reaction Chamber recipes
• Advanced AE Reaction Chamber recipes

Chemical Cutter

Produces AE2 Printed Processors from crystal intermediates created during MekUt's ore processing chain.

Ice Maker

Cools fluids into solid blocks.

Its primary purpose is converting Lava into Obsidian.

Laser Compress Nucleo Synthesizer

An alternative method for obtaining Polonium and Americium (Mekanism: Elements) without using the Solar Neutron Activator.

Designed as an alternative progression path for environments where Solar Neutron Activators cannot be operated efficiently.

Stellar Genesis Chamber

Consumes massive amounts of Hydrogen and Helium to create Artificial Stars, a late-game material that serves as an alternative to the Nether Star.

Submaterial Converter

Separates the item-to-chemical conversion normally performed in the Metallurgic Infuser and Osmium Compressor into a dedicated machine.

Bulk Storage Cells

Adds Fluid and Chemical versions of the MEGA Bulk Storage Cells from MEGA Cells.

These storage cells provide extremely high-capacity storage for fluids and Mekanism chemicals within the AE2 storage network.

Mekanism: Utilities

Mekanism: Utilities（MekUt）は、Mekanismを中心にApplied Energistics 2やそれらのアドオンとの連携を強化し、利便性・自動化・互換性を重視した拡張を行うModです。

新しい進行を大きく追加するのではなく、Mekanismのゲームプレイをより快適かつ便利にすることを目的としています。

鉱石処理の拡張

MekUtでは、Mekanismで金属鉱石にのみ対応していた鉱石処理を、多くの鉱物にも対応させています。

例えばダイヤモンドでは、

• ダイヤモンド鉱石はダイヤモンドではなくダイヤモンドの原石をドロップ
• ダイヤモンドの原石をMekanismの鉱石処理ラインで加工可能
• 最終的には金属鉱石と同等の倍化率でダイヤモンドを入手可能

Tweaked Energized Smelter（改修型電動精錬機）

精錬時に経験値を化学物質として抽出できる電動精錬機です。

抽出した経験値はMekUtの中間素材の製作に使用できるほか、XP Tankを利用してプレイヤー経験値へ戻すこともできます。

Small Digital Assembler（小型電子組立機）

MekUt独自レシピを加工する小型組立機です。

さらに、Extended AEのCrystal Assemblerレシピにも対応しています。

Small Digital Reaction Chamber（小型電子反応室）

以下のレシピを実行できる小型反応装置です。

• MekUt独自レシピ
• Mekanismの加圧反応室レシピ
• Advanced AEのReaction Chamberレシピ

Chemical Cutter（化学裁断機）

鉱石処理で得られる結晶中間体からAE2 Printed Processorを製作します。

Ice Maker（製氷機）

液体を冷却して固体ブロックへ変換します。

主な用途は溶岩から黒曜石を作ることです。

Laser Compress Nucleo Synthesizer（レーザー圧縮核合成機）

Solar Neutron Activatorを使用せずに、

• ポロニウム
• アメリシウム（Mekanism: Elements）

を生成できます。

Solar Neutron Activatorの運用が難しい環境向けの代替ルートとして設計されています。

Stellar Genesis Chamber（恒星創成室）

大量の水素とヘリウムを消費し、ネザースターの代替素材となるArtificial Starを生成します。

Submaterial Converter（副素材変換機）

冶金吹込機やオスミウム圧縮機で行われていたアイテム→化学物質への変換を独立させた専用機械です。
