🌟 Key Features

🌧️ Overhauled Rain, Snow & Sounds

Vanilla weather has been completely reworked to feel much more realistic and immersive.

• Heavy Rain & Snow: Raindrops and snowflakes are now denser, faster, and more atmospheric.
• Dynamic Rain Sounds: The default loud and repetitive rain noise is replaced with a soothing, realistic ambient rain sound that won't give you a headache.

🌫️ Immersive Fog

Explore a more mysterious world with dynamic fog.

• Thick, atmospheric fog now naturally rolls into the world.
• Blends perfectly with rain and snow to create a truly moody environment.
• Makes exploring forests and oceans much more atmospheric and cinematic.

🌑 Solar Eclipses

Experience the awe-inspiring beauty of a total solar eclipse!

• The sky gradually darkens in the middle of the day.
• A stunning, glowing Solar Corona appears around the moon.
• Cinematic "Diamond Ring" effect just before and after totality.
• Gameplay impact: The world becomes dark enough for hostile mobs to spawn during the day!

🌌 Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights)

Travel to cold biomes (like Snowy Taiga, Ice Spikes, or Tundras) at night to witness spectacular Auroras.

• Fully animated, dynamic waves of light dancing across the sky.
• Smooth color blending (from deep greens to vibrant purples and pinks).

🌕 Realistic Moon Phases

The default pixelated square moon has been entirely replaced.

• Beautiful Earthshine effect (the dark side of the moon subtly glows from Earth's reflected light).
• All 8 moon phases are fully supported and dynamically rendered.

• /betterweather eclipse start - Forces a solar eclipse to begin.
• /betterweather sandstorm start - Spawns a sandstorm at your location.
