rainworld rain
The author built this one for Minecraft 1.20.1 on Forge. On other versions it may install and then do nothing.
features:
adds rain that damages you (5 hearts by default and without armor)
green electricity is shown instead of rain in dry biomes (savanna as a example)
snow in snow biomes freeze you to death (like saints campaign)
option to enable "flooding" in the options, not recommended unless you have a mod alike flowing fluids or similar
