Custom Blocks

The CustomBlocks plugin is a powerful tool that allows server administrators to create and distribute custom blocks with unique appearances and properties. With this plugin, you can enhance your Minecraft server by introducing custom blocks that can be obtained and used by players.

Features:

1. Custom Block Creation: The plugin enables you to create custom blocks with unique appearances using the Custom Model Data feature provided by Minecraft. You can assign custom model data values to blocks to define their visual appearance.
   
   
2. Give Custom Blocks: Server administrators can use the /givecustomblock command to give themselves or other players custom blocks. By specifying the desired custom model data value, a custom block item will be added to the player's inventory. This allows for easy distribution and access to custom blocks.
   
   
3. Check Custom Block Model Data: The /checkitem command allows players to check the custom model data of the item they are holding in their hand. This is helpful for players to verify if a block has custom properties and differentiate it from regular blocks.

Setup Instructions:

1. Download the CustomBlocks plugin JAR file compatible with your server's version.
   
   
2. Place the downloaded JAR file into the plugins folder of your Minecraft server directory.
   
   
3. Start or restart your Minecraft server to load the plugin.
   
   
4. Customize Block Creation: To create custom blocks, you need to define their visual appearance using a resource pack. Modify the textures or models of blocks within the resource pack, assigning unique custom model data values to each variation.
   
   
5. Grant Permissions: Assign the givecustomblock.admin permission to players who should be able to use the /givecustomblock command and the checkitem.admin permission to players who should be able to use the /checkitem command.
   
   
6. Restart the server to apply the permission changes.
   
   
7. The CustomBlocks plugin is now ready to use. Players with the necessary permissions can use the /givecustomblock command to obtain custom blocks, and all players can use the /checkitem command to inspect the custom model data of items they are holding.

Remember to provide players with the necessary resource pack files to ensure they can see the custom block appearances properly.

Note: Make sure to regularly update the CustomBlocks plugin to take advantage of any new features or bug fixes.
